Milwaukee 6130-33 7 Amp 4-1/2" Small Angle Grinder is rated 4.5 out of 5 by 8.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from On-off switch now moved to top This is a note that the on-off slider switch with lock has moved from the side (in the picture) to the top. I just bought it (4/7/2015). Not sure when this change was made, and I was surprised. Would this will be an issue, but I see this may be due to feedback from another poster/s who say the switch being on the side was bad because the thumb accidentally bumps and switches off. I'll leave at 5 stars so as not to skew the rating too much, and I did bought it due to the comments.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best small grinder out there I use this grinder extensively, every weekend on and off for 5-10 hours, fabricating a custom rock crawler. It just keeps going without any problems. The switch locks on, rather than one you have to keep depressed, which is the style I want, because it allows you to hold it in different positions for grinding, cutting, or tight spaces you're trying to fit into. Easy on/off with the thumb though. I've had it for a couple years now.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Prefer the previous version with switch on side I use this grinder along with a bandfile for finishing and blending welded corners on 16 and 20 ga. stainless steel countertops and doors. This grinder is small, light and powerful. I have both versions, one with the side switch, one with the top switch. I much prefer the side switch as the top switch is awkward and difficult to lock in the on position.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Gets the job done with ease! I originally had an angle grinder made by the company which is most recognizable by their signature aqua blue colored products the angle grinder was a 7.5 amp 4.5" angle grinder which was awesome, but when it came time to get a new grinder I decided to go with Milwaukee. First impressions of this angle grinder were that the guard design is very stout and easy to move about (even with bulky welding gloves), the design of the spanner wrench is a big plus (I never fear about busting my knuckles on the guard), and the weight of the tool is very light. While using the grinder I did notice that it wasn't always easy to turn on with welding gloves on, but honestly... welding gloves are for welding and not for grinding or cutting so I cannot complain too much. The grinder itself is well balanced, easy to control, and seems to effortlessly power through any obstacle. I utilize this tool most often in automotive applications and it has never left me hanging. I highly recommend this grinder to anyone looking for a good and sturdy grinder.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Tried several, this one is the best. I bought another brand based on prior experience. This other brand has always been a pro-grade tool. Well, their grinder was much louder and vibrated terribly. I returned it and got another thinking it was defective. The replacement was just as bad and even vibrated the wrench out of the handle. After returning that grinder, I bought a different brand that had all the features I wanted (3 position handle, type 1 & type 27 guard, tool-less guard adjustment). It was just as loud and rough as the first one. After inspection, they appeared to be the same tool, but with different accessories and switch types. I bought a really cheap one from you know where and it lacked power and got very hot quickly. Then I bought a yellow one and it didn't vibrate as bad but was still very loud. The guard was goofy to adjust and the warranty is only 3 years. The Milwaukee didn't have ALL the features I wanted, but it had most and the attention to detail is fantastic. The guard is easy to adjust, the spanner wrench doesn't bust your knuckles and the handle is comfortable. This grinder is smoother and quieter than anything of the other 3 I've tried (~3dbA quieter according to my meter). It's so much so that it tricks you into thinking it doesn't have as much power as the others. I thought that too until I actually ground a weld bead with it. It has just as much power as any other 7 amp or less tool and is noticeably lighter. It also is noticeably smoother, especially with a grinding wheel. Great price, great performance and a great warranty!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Agree with switch comments... I agree with the two other commenters that noticed the switch is not easy to operate even without gloves! The switch type cannot be used to power the grinder momentarily, as it locks inmediately. And it requires a somewhat heavy pressure to be actuated. A better switch and better locaton is required (mine has the original side switch). Noise and vibration are NOT as low as my METABO, but Price was sensibly lower.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great for the small jobs Don't be fooled by the compact design. This grinder can get the job done.. as long as it's a smaller project. For the avid DIY person this tool is a must have and will save you countless hours around the house.
