Acme Electric offers a complete range of Dry-type Distribution Transformers optimized to provide long life in general purpose applications. Dry-type transformers are smaller and easier to maintain than liquid-filled transformers. Several different model lines are tuned for different needs: single phase or three phase, ventilated or encapsulated, plus DOE three phase models. Ventilated models are air-cooled but fully encased with no exposed parts. Encapsulated models feature electrical grade silica and resin to seal moisture and air out of the core and coil, contained in a NEMA 3R enclosure for use indoors or out.
