COMMUNICATION MODULE MODICON M580 PERFORMANCE ETHERNET IP/MODBUS TCP

This communication module is part of the Modicon M580 range, an offer of Programmable Automation Controllers (PAC). This module acts as an interface between the M580 PLC and other Ethernet network devices via the Modbus/TCP and EtherNet/IP communication protocols. This module provides large IO Scan data sizes and high-performance data exchange efficiency. It also has the best cybersecurity features and can extend to more modules in the rack. The Modicon M580 automation platform complies with "TC" treatment requirements (treatment for all climates) and can operate in temperatures ranging from 0°C to +60°C/32°F to 140°F. It comes with 3x RJ45 Ethernet ports and 1Gbps speed for device network ports. It offers communication services such as bandwidth management, FDR server, Modbus TCP I/O scanner and messaging, EtherNet/IP I/O scanner and messaging, embedded 4-port switch, RSTP support, SNMP network administrator and embedded multiport switch services etc. Its dimensions are 32mm (width) 131mm (height) 86mm (depth) and weighs 0.393Kg. The module is delivered in 1 packing unit. It can be installed in any X80 Ethernet backplane dual-port slot in the head rack of a Modicon M580 ePAC system. This product can be used in combination with Modicon X80 (I/O, backplane, cable) and works with the EcoStruxure Control Expert programming software.
