Rated 5 out of 5 by Anonymous from The last of the Mohicans Not only is this a fine turntable, it is probably a record breaker in the audio industry for length of production. I am not aware of any other audio product one could buy new today and 30 years ago. The only sad thing assosiated with the SL-1200MkII is that it reminds us the demise of the Technics brand. My MkII mates flawlessly with Moving Coil carts, high compliance Moving Magnet ones and pleases me with the high build quality that distinguishes this from cheap, plastic attempts.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Anonymous from The best product of all times I've been using this Turntable since 1980, and for me its the only product on more than 30 years, that does not sufer any changes on its structure, and still going the best of all. PP Torre, Dee Jay Pro

Rated 5 out of 5 by Anonymous from Had 1200's for 6 years and they are still going! Had mine for 6 years, i would definetly buy the new tt if something happened to them, but from the looks of it i would just have to replace a couple of parts, GREAT PRODUCT. well worth the price..

Rated 5 out of 5 by Anonymous from workhorse I used two of these in a smoky, beer stained club for over 6 years and never had a failure. The one I use at home (powered by my Sansui 9500) is over 25 years old and still performs perfectly. Do not waste your money elsewhere. Retired DJ. Active audiophile.
