Rated 2 out of 5 by Anonymous from Newer isn't better Had a older Hole Hawg for years and abused it. I mean really abused it. I use it to spin a heavy cable up to 200' long. Finally fried it, new brushes wouldn't help so I bought a new one. Subtle changes, but the biggest is they use a new chuck from Jacobs. IT WON'T HOLD THE BIT. Used my channel locks on on the chuck key but constantly slipped and threw the adapter I had in place. Took it back and for now I'm using a cheap big box drill that works fine. What a shame.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Anonymous from Why are they made in [*] MilwaukeeWhat have you done to this great tool. I have owned several 2 speed hole hawgs for 35 years and have always had them a good long time and actually wore them out. I bought another one 3 weeks ago and was surprised it did not have the power of my others (Last one was bought in 2005) It was not drilling as expected from all my previous tools and then when I looked at it on the bottom of the equipment tag it says MADE IN [*]. Shame on you Milwaukee. I must say that I will never buy another made in [*]Milwaukee product again. I should have known when it does not list a country of origin. I Buy from Companies that keep people employed here in the USA. If I wanted MADE IN [*]Junk I would have bought one for less than half the money.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Anonymous from Electrical Contractor Standard I have two of these Hole Hawgs that drill holes all day long. They never fail and never give up. Five years into the Electrical Construction industry and still going strong. I don't see using any other product to get this particular job done.
