Milwaukee 6509-31 Sawzall Reciprocating Saw is rated out of 5 by 9.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Anonymous from This is the best! Forget the longer stroke lengths, 3/4 is where it's at. I call the other sawzalls blade benders. Especially for plunge cutting. Also this sawzall is weighted to where I can use it with one hand, which is nice for holding a pipe, tree limb, board, etc. in the other. I've noticed a trend within all recip saw makers to go towards longer stroke lengths and higher amps. I've got a couple of milwaukee 11 ampers which I still feel were the best sawzalls ever made. For rehab/remodeling this is the one if you want to avoid over cuts and bending blades.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Anonymous from Excellent saw for the money I needed to replace a 12 year old recip saw from another manufacturer that finally died. While there are many recip saws on the market, I had always wanted a REAL Milwaukee Sawzall and this saw fit the bill nicely. I use my recip saw for home remodeling projects, custom car fabrication, and even trimming trees. The 6519-31 is well balanced and light enough to one hand when needed. The 12amp motor provide plenty of unending power for even the toughest jobs like cutting titanium bolts. If there are any negatives about thsi saw the only one I can think of is it's not 100% Made in USA.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Anonymous from Super Storm Sandy SSS actually lifted my deck which is about 15 x 20 and when water went down the deck was sitting on my fence which was right next to my neighbor's fence. I bought this saw and thought I had a nightmare job ahead of me. This saw cut across that deck so easily and I was finished in about an hour. I love Milwaukee! Now if only they could teach my husband how to use their products. Great tool and easy for a woman to use!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Anonymous from Cut Down a Wall!!!! I have a Milwaukee Sawzall that was my grandads from back in the 50' It finally gave up the ghost but this new seems on track to replace it. I kept the old one but it weights a ton and the new one is easier on the arms.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Anonymous from Plastic Case I am disappointed that the plastic case does not have room to store exta blades. Now it is "run to the truck and get the Sawzall and remember to bring the extra blades." The case is made of plastic, how much would it have cost to make it large enough to hold both the cord and extra blades? The old tin box was great. I wish my new saw would fit into it and I would throw this useless plastic case away.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Anonymous from My first Milwaukee The first job was to tear of the complete roof of a cabin which happened easily, quickly and safely. It cut through old hard beams with nails with minimal vibration. It cuts steel well but goes through blades quickly. The only complaint is the rubber grip keeps coming off.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Anonymous from Great Saw I just brought this saw to get rid of a backyard pipe canopy that had rusted and not able to get the screws out. I have never used one before but found it easy to work. I purchase extra blades for our next project and everything went in the case with no problems.
