Great alternative to the traditional can light. These things are only 1/2" deep and can mount overtop of joists, pipe and ducting. You just need to allow for the small remote driver box that comes with the fixture. No more worries about "whats behind the sheet rock?". Like the fact that they are damp rated as well so can be used in showers and other wet locations. Good light output and very comparable to led trims or retro kits. Only thing to note is that there is not a lot of room in the driver box for wire makeup. Plan on hitting each one with a no more than two 14-2 romex, nothing more or you will have a bit of a challenge.
